FULL TIME STORE MANAGER – POSTED UNTIL FILLED

Whitehead Oil is seeking enthusiastic individual with high-standards for customer service for U-Stop Convenience Shop managerial position. Ideal candidate would take a “hands on” approach and lead by example. Looking for a competitive, detail-oriented person willing to learn the business from the ground up, who will be committed to the Company and his/her store staff.  Individual will be heavily tasked with improving current business relationships and gaining new business accounts for the operation.

Function Summary – Full Time, primarily Monday – Friday full business day hours will included weekends/evenings as needed. Responsible for all aspects of the (24 hour, seven day/week retail store with fueling station. Skills and responsibilities include: controlled inventory/ordering, staff scheduling, employee orientation/coaching and ensuring required permits are current, routine communication with employees on special promotions with expectation all staff is well versed and upsells to customers, accurate daily deposits/reports, coordination of store maintenance, plans, coordinates and directs a wide variety of activities related to promoting merchandise and maintaining positive Company image; position requires self-motivation and initiative; individual will be expected to exercise considerable amount of discretion, independent judgment.

Requirements

• Must successfully past criminal background check to attain State of Nebraska Liquor License.
• Must have current drivers license and motor vehicle record which will meet the standard of approval with professional liability carrier. And, carry motor vehicle insurance coverage in which also meets the standard of approval of professional liability carrier.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must attain and maintain Manager level Food and Responsible Server/Seller permits.
• Level A/B Operator Underground Store Tank Training.
