FULL and/or PART TIME POSITION: Car Wash Attendant
REPORTS TO: Soapatopia Car Wash Manager
LOCATIONS: 73rd & Pine Lake and opening spring 2023, Hwy 77 & West Denton Road, next to U-STOPo
STARTING RATE: $13.00/hour. +$1.00/hour differential for hours worked between 11 PM – 7 AM.
HOURS/WEEK: 12-16 Hours/week = Part Time. 36 Hours/week = Full Time.

PART TIME SHIFT HOURS (MORNINGS, AFTERNOONS, EVENINGS): FLEXIBLE SHIFTS BETWEEN 7 AM – 9 PM, ALL DAYS
FULL TIME SHIFT HOURS (DAYS): 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM – MONDAY – FRIDAY
Job Summary
Whitehead Oil Company d/b/a SOAPATOPIA CAR WASH is looking for individuals to join our Car Wash Attendants team. In this position, employee will pre-wash each customer’s car and assist customers in selecting a one-time car wash or car wash package. While you do not need to have formal training, we do prefer applicants with professional mechanical experience. Position is also responsible for upkeep of inside/outside of car wash and outdoor maintenance of surface lot/premises of adjacent U-STOP Convenience Shop. Candidate must have strong physical stamina and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Car Wash Attendant Duties and Responsibilities
- Knowledge and understanding of car wash options, package deals and special and be able to discuss our package options with the customer
- Use soap and sponges to clean the exterior of the car
- Able to provide instruction and do routine maintenance of car wash vacuum and wand so vacuum is always operational for customers use.
- Clean up car washing area at the end of your shift
